How we started
Sunridge Covers grew out of years spent in the Sydney solar industry. Running a solar retail business, we kept hearing the same thing from customers. They knew their inverter needed protection from the sun and rain, but the only cover on the market just didn't look good on their home.
So in 2021 we set out to make a better one. We wanted a cover that protects the equipment properly and looks like a considered part of the house. We launched as Sunny Covers, and in 2026 we became Sunridge Covers.
What makes our covers different
- Built to last. Our covers are made from 2mm aluminium with a powder-coated finish in a range of colours to match your home.
- Designed around your equipment. Each cover leaves room for your inverter's internal fan to keep it cool, plus space for switches and conduits. Fully enclosing an inverter does the opposite.
- Easy access. Inverter covers have a front panel that lifts open. Battery covers lift off the wall using a key-hole mounting design.
- Simple to install. Anyone handy with basic tools can fit one in about 10–15 minutes.
- Universal sizing. Our range suits most inverters and home batteries on the market. Battery covers can also be stacked to fit taller battery towers.
- Original designs. Our cover designs are registered with IP Australia.
- Backed by a 5-year warranty on materials and workmanship.
Australian-made idea, global reach
We're based in Newcastle, NSW, and our covers now protect solar systems around the world. We hold stock in warehouses in Australia, the USA and the UK, so orders ship locally and arrive quickly, wherever you are.
